We are often asked: what is the difference between essence and emulsion? Can these tools be used together or separately? Why do you need both in one line of care products?
These wonderful skin care products come to us from Korea, where women actively use both essence and emulsion. These products are included in the so-called Korean system of skin care and cleansing of the face. European and Russian women are just getting acquainted with this system, which is why so many questions arise. There is, of course, a difference.
The essence has a lighter texture and is similar to a serum. The essence of the essence is in a high-molecular composition, that is, the product penetrates into the deepest layers of the skin. This is achieved thanks to the very small molecules. The essence is like a conduit for subsequent care products. Therefore, the products that you apply to the skin after the essence are much more effective. Essence is often confused with serum. Of course, in some ways they are similar, but they perform slightly different tasks. Unlike serum, which works for specific problems, the essence solves more global problems - hydration, nutrition, and so on.
The emulsion has a denser texture and looks like a light cream. Works in the upper layers of the skin. Can be used in summer instead of cream, especially for owners of oily and combination skin.
